"We've been "investigating this farm" for over two years, and finally we just did what any normal person would do - this baby goat was in ill health, being mistreated, and dying in it's own feces. We went on the property and took it, so we could take it to a veterinary for treatment so it could live."
Only problem with this story? It's not true - not even close. But looking at that cute, poor 6 day old baby goat they stole from under it's momma, stole from our place, you simply cannot believe it right? I mean these people show their faces on live film, they are lawyers for gosh sake, they must be above board, right? WRONG AGAIN - they are no different that your basic livestock thief, stealing for profit - in this case fundraising...
Our goat wasn't sick, it was only six days old, didn't have time to get sick yet!
It was living the good life with it's mom and brother, in a warm clean stall - right up to the point these fools stole it from under it's mother, and took it out into the 50 degree pouring rain, then improperly feed it the next day, almost killing it...
EARNING THE LEGAL RIGHT TO RESCUE - THE PROCESS
From one of their own e-mails requesting donations:
"Win in court! With your help today, we can raise the funds to make 2019 the year that we establish the right to rescue. Winning even one of our court cases would mean setting a critical precedent for the future of the animal rights movement and the rescue of every suffering animal. "
"The right to rescue" means, they come onto your property, take your animals, because THEY SAY they have been researching you and you're not taking care of them, so they can take them away... Think about it - this guy and DXE is going to do what they want with your property, and there is NOTHING you can do to stop the theft...
In our case, we never heard of this joker before he dropped his drivers license here to get caught. He never approached us, the farm owners about what we do, how we do it. Why didn't he ever call or talk to us? Because none of that matters - he simply invents a big story, about how we're not taking care of our animals, comes in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain with a gang of livestock thieves , and steals a 6 day old baby goat, and then almost kills it by mistreating it during the following weeks... Then he blames the whole thing on us - the farmers, by saying it's all our fault - what a world!
Once they have "RIGHT TO RESCUE" , then the flood gates open for them simply going onto farm properties and taking what they want, when they want to further their fund raising efforts - by filming the thefts and providing their own narrative.
So this item below is part of a sister effort to sue for human civil rights, on behalf of animals kept in captivity. So again, once a court cracks the door open, saying that elephants or monkeys are people, then it's all over for farming. It will take a while, but this is a war of attrition folks - this is why these jokers at DXE, PETA and others must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when they steal animals / livestock. Every moment they are on the streets, they are continuing this effort to work towards assuring THE ANIMAL FREEDOM MOVEMENT WINS .
In fact the DXE Leader Mr Wayne H. is currently wanted in 7 or more states, on over 10 felony charges (last I heard). He's out stealing baby animals that are cute (and in our case perfectly healthy) and then filming the whole thing live on FB - asking for donations.
His goal is to get caught and go to court (that's why he "dropped" his drivers license in front of my barn ) . He's waiting for just one single case to crack the door to allow him to keep doing it LEGALLY over and over again, working towards the day when all farm animals, pet dogs and cats, horses, you name it are FREE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES UNMOLESTED by humans.
Think about it, think about your favorite animal, and how one day it may be ILLEGAL FOR YOU TO OWN IT, OR CARE FOR IT... - it's in the works right now folks.. See below
SOURCE - "In a major procedural victory for the NhRP, Justice Jaffe also determines that a human or corporation, i.e. the NhRP has standing to bring a lawsuit directly on behalf of a nonhuman animal without having to allege any injury to human interests. A lack of standing is the most common reason federal courts dismiss animal welfare cases. She also finds that the so-called “floodgate” or “slippery slope” argument (the idea that recognizing the legal rights of individual chimpanzees will open the door to rights for all animals) “is not a cogent reason for denying relief” and affirms that who is a “person” is not a question of biology, but of public policy and principle."
